Rude NYU grad student - Hermon Raju

Hermon Raju - obnoxious train passenger!

In this video, here's an archived copy, we see an Indian woman, Hermon Raju, get into an angry altercation with a train conductor. Ms. Raju boarded a Metro North train in Westport, Connecticut heading to New York. She was talking very loud on her cellphone and using profanity, passengers complained, so one of the train conductors politely requested she cease her rude behavior. This sends the unstable woman over the edge who then launches into an infantile tirade making a complete fool of herself as she brags about her education! Apparently she thought the conductor would be in awe of her academic credentials and beg her pardon. What an arrogant and deluded woman! She talks to the conductor in such a condescending elitist tone. Hermon Raju was a graduate intern at BNP Paribas recently for a few months, she has an undergraduate degree in politics and a graduate degree in finance and marketing all from NYU. Her condescending and pretentious tirade is truly hilarious. Let this video serve as an example of how one should not behave.
Talk to the hand!

She interned for a Democrat legislator, no surprise there! She has not had a real job, just a few months here and there interning so you'd think since she is now looking for a real full-time job she'd be more careful in public. With such a noxious attitude I don't think she'll be very successful in her career.

"I was not cursing. Excuse me, do you know what schools I've been to and how well-educated I am?"

"I am not a crazy person. I'm a very well-educated person."

A few more choice quotes:

"I was not cursing, excuse me, do you know what schools I've been to?"

"I'm sorry, do you think I'm a little hoodlum?"

"Stop the train, stop the train."

Reportedly after this incident an announcement was made on the train's speaker asking passengers to refrain from using profanity, "especially those people who went to Harvard or Yale or are from Westport." Haha gotta love New York wit.

Her full name is Hermon Kaur Raju. After this incident she immediately deleted her twitter (@hermesr211), myspace, facebook and linkedin! LOL. Someone is going into hiding it seems. Here's an archived copy (PDF).

Interesting that she lists, "Excellent management and communication skills", she was certainly a very effective communicator on the commuter train!

Her hi5 page is down, but here's an archived copy (PDF).

It says, "Im not very nice to strangers." At least she was honest!

Someone even made a Facebook fan page for her :)

This one's a keeper!

  1. An ugly, big nosed woman who is a lot uglier and a lot less educated than she thinks that she is.

  2. what the hell does obama have to do with this ... douchebag

  3. Similar arrogance and sense of entitlement. See my latest blog post on this.

  4. fuck you all porkis!!

    You all are beggars!!

    go and first learn jihad!!

  5. Thank you so much!

Great post! And great range of topics that you cover, keep up the great writing!

  6. Got to love internet. Even a dick-less alien from far away (lack of) civilization can say something completely meaningless on any topic in a state of stupor (response to, ... Anonymous said. June 19, 2011 1:10 PM ...)

  7. In her culture arranged marriages are very common. Usually they involve some sort of pre-arranged dowry.

This woman's price just dropped a few goats.

  8. She's hideous. A nose and boob job would help.

  9. Her hi5 page is still up:

...Err, not any more (June 22, 10am MST)

  10. On her "pre nuptial" agreement she lists "your dignity" as the last thing she'll take from you.

haha! how ironic is the world.

  11. This is a privileged elitist snob who thinks that she is better than everyone else. If she were so "educated," she would know not to end a sentence with a preposition. Obviously, she thinks very highly of herself, and she believes that anyone of a lesser caste should be punished. Send her back to her native land where they will bury her up to her neck and stone her head when she commits whatever her civilization deems a crime.

the red flag in her linkedin profile is her *not* listing an earned degree but rather stating “NYU Graduate”. this is occasionally done by individuals looking to deceive employers by giving they illusion that they were enrolled undergraduates who earned a degree. in this deception, the individual takes open public extension courses at a university that s/he could never get into, earns some meaningless professional development certificate (read: NOT a degree), and declare themselves as having graduated from said university. the *eight years* she studied at NYU is the second red flag.

  13. Yes I think the caste system is, sadly, still alive and well in Indian society. So lame. I read this article about "untouchable" Christians in India who are treated worse than dogs. And from monitoring Voice of the Martyrs and other NGOs I've noticed Christian persecution in India by Muslims and especially Hindu nationalists is really bad now. Pisses me off.

  14. Oh and often the local governments do nothing. In the case of the 2008 massacre of Christians in Orissa, Karnataka, Madhya Prdesh, and Gujrat where hundreds of Christians were killed by Hindu nationalists, the local police actually protected the attackers! Over 400 churches, 3,000 private homes, orphanages and other Christian organizations were burned down or otherwise destroyed, numerous Christian girls - even teenagers - have been raped by these devils, and at least one Catholic nun was gang-raped. The federal government is no better as it's been 3 years and not a single person has been convicted in the Orissa tragedy. Also there is evidence that the BJP political party orchestrated the attacks. Sickening!

Here are some photos from Orissa (WARING! VERY GRAPHIC):

  15. Anon - good cyber sleuthing. Yes that is very suspicious.

  16. She is obnoxious but I think she is hot. Hermon - contact me and I will buy you a cosmo. I drive a BMW 6 series and am a doctor.

I'm an Indian Hindu so I can clear up some misundertandings here. She is not Hindu, she is Sikh. Punjabi Sikh women are known for being loud mouths.

The dowry system in India does not go from groom's side to bride's side so her value did not depriciate as its her family who will have to give a dowry to a groom. They will probably have to pay a him a hefty price! LOL.

Christian untouchables in India are treated untouchable by their community - other Christians. In some areas the Christians segregate their Churches and have separate churches for whom they consider "untouchable".

The violence against Christians in India has been blow way out of proportion by the media and there is a lot of disinformation stirred up by politicos.

India is a religiously plural country and has ever thus been so.

  18. Punjabi Sikh women are known for being loud! Way to generalize people! So idiotic!

OK, Punjabi women in general, not just Sardarnis.

But their upside is that they are great lovers so it makes it easier to put up with the mouth.

There's always a trade off somewhere.

  20. Who cares where you are educated or how you're raised when there's nothing nice, elegant, or gracious about her in words or actions?

Truth is she's arrogant, big nose, ugly mouth-piece. Wears that same stupid smile--that underbite-- in every of her photobucket {before she took it down}.

  21. She's got really flat punjabis and a huge shiek.

  22. i'm an indian girl with two doctorates (law and med) AND a masters, and i can tell you firsthand that degrees are just letters after your name.. what matters is what you do with your education and what sort of legacy you leave in life. part of that legacy involves treating everyone you encounter with kindness and respect. for those who say it's because she's indian, she's not indian--she's indian-american. and i can vouch that the vast majority of indian americans are raised with the notion that you MUST treat everyone with respect--it's rooted in many of our religions (hindu, sikh, jain, etc). what's more, many of our parents came here with literally $10 in their pockets--many were blue collar workers starting out, and while some pursued advanced education after emigrating, many continued to work hard as blue collar workers. to insult someone with less education is tantamount to insulting your own parents. forget about the internet consequences--before you decide to insult someone's station in life, think about this--that janitor who picks your trash up off the floor or wipes the pee spray you left on the toilet seat could be someone's mother or father, working hard to pay the bills. their hard work alone is worthy of your respect, regardless of your education level.

  23. Well said Anonymous Indian girl. And that is great you enjoy learning so much. If you have a blog you can email me the address, my email address is in an image on the bottom right of the blog. As a Christian we are taught that all righteous work is honorable (not stealing, not making money off others misery, etc) and I agree that we should respect ALL workers no matter what their social position. Do you think some of this snobbery is imported into America and taught to their Indian-American children by certain Indians who still like the caste system?

  24. I think she is hot.

  25. Everything is taken out of context! We really don't know how this all situation was sparked! Train conductors are no angels either. I have witnessed a few times how they were rude as well as some of the passengers, but the difference only that they get payed to serve the customers who are paying for them to have this job!

  26. who is pranav bindra? why is he marrying HER?
